The job
You run hook-and-drop loads of general freight nationwide for brokers and direct shippers.
Hook & drop means you bobtail to the shipper or yard, drop your trailer, hook one that's already loaded and get back on the road — no sitting at the dock waiting to be loaded or unloaded.
When you call dispatch, a person who knows your name and your truck picks up.
Requirements
- CDL Class A
- 6–12 mo verifiable experience
- Valid DOT medical card
- Basic English language
- No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- No Clearinghouse violations without completed return-to-duty
